The U.S. has a great tradition of political art.  The problem is, not many are currently creating it. 

This web series profiles Ayad Alkadhi whose work offers penetrating commentary on the little discussed death toll among civilians in his home country, with other work influenced by Abu Ghraib torture images.   

Blending Near Eastern and Western culture, politics and religion, Alkadhi has exhibited in the Middle East, New Zealand, the U.S. and at Sotheby’s London.
